The Channel Armrest with Drain Hole is designed to provide optimal support for weak or paralyzed extremities. The armrest holds the elbow in place while still allowing the forearm to rotate. The armrest attaches to the chair with a three-channel extrusion. Usually only one channel is required for mounting leaving two channels open for other attachments such as electronic hardware.
Differences between the Channel Armrest with Drain Hole and the Channel Armrest include a drain hole near the elbow, a wider forearm channel, and a higher back lip.
